Realigning With Your Goals!

‚ÄčIt is so important to step back every now and then, focus and realign with your goals.  This is relevant in ALL areas in your life and not just fitness!  In this article I am going to give you some tips in realigning with your goals especially if you are finding yourself struggling or unsure of what action to take.


1. Know what your goals are and why you want to achieve them..... Set yourself a target such as, "I want to lose one stone" or "I want to create a healthier lifestyle".  The WHY is extremely important..... could it be because you are fed up having no confidence? Or maybe you are self conscious changing to go into the swimming pool?  Your WHY is what will keep you motivated longterm.

2. Intention to commit....This could be the intention to perform 3 workouts per week, or maybe you intend to get up 10-15 minutes earlier in the morning to make a healthy breakfast for yourself before the kids wake up or it could be something as simple as you intending to go for an evening walk 3 times per week.

3. Commit... To commit to your goals you should write these down.  If it is written down in front of you, you will do it!!  This could be "I commit to eating 80-90% clean ".  Why not 100%  "clean"?  Realistically if we aim for about 80-90% clean eating and then let yourself have that occasional treat, this will be easier to maintain in the long run without sacrificing results. You have to implement this tip otherwise you will never stick at it or fulfil your goals.  If you stick to this plan it will work!

4. Decide what you have to do and who you have to become to achieve your goals...This applies to all aspects of your life.  For example, if I want to be successful in helping people transform their body then I need to ask myself what do I need to read, what do I need to do,  who do I need to become in order to help these people. Then I do it!   This is very important.  To see change - You must create change!

So who do you have to become to achieve your goals?  Do you have to become someone who respects their body?  Someone who is finally going to take control of their body and make no excuses?

Write down your goal, put a date on it and WHY!!

This will be the most powerful thing you will do today!
